OOTD: CASUAL BLACK & WHITE...

Is there a stripe bug? -Because I feel like I've been bitten by it. Ha!
Anyways...this is me from Monday to Friday. I just swap tops and accessories, but I basically live in these skinnies and shoes. Unfortunately I had to bit farewell to the shoes last week, because the poor thing has been worn beyond its limit.

I want to take the chance to thank everyone for your well wishes on my last post. My leg is much better. After three weeks of no gym and just stuffing my face with food, -I can't wait to get back.
You're much appreciated.

OOTD: THIGH-HIGH STRIPED...

Just when I thought Spring has finally arrived in great Britain, here comes the cold and constant rain. I think global warming is unto us, guys. Can you believe it still snows in some part of the world?
Spring where thou at, please?
In other words, I need a holiday asap! I'll be completing studies in June if God permits, but can't deny that my cognitive function is exhausted. Ha!!

On the #ootd, - I'm always excited to wear something with a little bit of character and boldness during gloomy weather. It is very therapeutic. I love how simple this dress is and how the thigh-high slit add some sexy touch.

OOTD: REPEAT OFFENDER...

Scenario: Imagine an elephant running on a full speed to kick a ball. It gets to the ball, but its feet didn't touch the ball well so it slides, slips and falls resulting in a full split on its bum on the ground. -The left leg bends and the right leg over-stretches that bending it causes so much pain. -And when it walks, there's so much pain in the right leg that it has to limp.

TGIF Beauties!
That's me saying, "I'm sat at home nursing my leg which I fractured from playing football with my son." Thank God, it is getting better each passing day.

On the #ootd: As you can see, the sweater is making a comeback. Have you had a situation where you had to go somewhere, but you don't feel like dressing up, - So you grab the first thing that you see? This is how this outfit came about.
I wore this few weeks ago to a friend's birthday dinner and an event after.

OOTD: AFRICAN TIE DYE KAFTAN...

As a young African teenager, I was so adamant to wear anything ankara (African print). Not that I didn't appreciate the African culture, but I hated the styles. -And I was a full time tomboy to care about anything feminine.
African print has come along way. I love the creativity and the effortless approach which wasn't entirely the same back then.
I wore this outfit to church.

OOTD: SIMPLY CHUNKY SWEATER...

"Simplicity is the keynote of all elegance."
*Coco Chanel*

My love for chunky sweaters know no bounds. Aside dressing them up or down, I love lounging in them at home. Just so cosy!
As I said, this year I'll be wearing more pants than usual and I'm keeping up. The pot holes (a.k.a cellulites) on my thighs are reducing bit by bit, so its a good news. Ha!
I wore this outfit to a friend's birthday dinner/party.

When in doubt, wear a chunky sweater. It cozies up with almost everything.

How's your weekend going?
Have a good one, beauties.

OOTD: THAT CLASSY RED COAT...

I love shopping (no she didn't just admit to having a problem. Ha!), but I must admit that the best things are found when you least expect it. You can imagine my excitement when I walked into TK Maxx almost two years ago and found this coat. No brainer here! -I had to buy it, because; 1, my closet lacks a classic lady's coat and 2, it was on sale. It is quite shocking that this is the first time I'm wearing it (how silly of me!). It is a gem!
The blouse is another goodie from Newchic. Again, really pleased about it.
When something is good, you get it in almost all colours (I know you can relate..) and that's exactly what I did with this sexy leather skirt. I bought the blue version over a year ago (again haven't wore yet). Coincidentally I saw that the black was on sales for around £10, -oh well...the rest is history!

I'm happy with how the outfit came together with all the accessories.
Classy and Sexy!
