Thank God we've made it this far. It hasn't been an easy ride, but hey we still here right?.....Right!! :-)

LIME TOP & THIGH HIGH SPLIT SKIRT...

Rewind a few years back and you wouldn't catch me wearing a skirt like this. Why you ask? - Because I was a coward and i had a lower self esteem. Like many people, I've had to also learn to accept who I am and live life no matter the size of my body. Sometimes you might find yourself on the slim side, sometimes on the plump side, - it doesn't matter! All you've to do is dress to fit that size!

One thing I've learnt this year is to love and accept my body for what it is. If anyone has something negative to say about you or hate that you're a woman with enough body, then that's their problem.

Notice the scripture says "may" and not "will." In other words, you have something to do with whether he is able to devour you. And if you know anything about Satan, he doesn't have any power. The only power he has is the power you give him.

Fear, of course, is one of his favorite tactics, so he will try to use fear to stop you. But don't give in to him. Go ahead and do it afraid. When God tells you to give somebody a tract or witness to a person, say, "Yes, Lord, I want to do what You're telling me to do. I feel kind of afraid, Lord, but I believe You're with me, so I'm just going to do it."

We can make the decision to stop allowing ourselves to get upset, aggravated and frustrated. Although we may think, “I can’t help it,” according to Jesus, we can help it. He offers us peace that can keep us from getting this way.

It’s important for us to realize that we have a responsibility to not let our hearts be troubled or afraid. We will never break loose from anything we’re struggling with until we take personal responsibility for where we are now.

I had to pay tribute, cos I'm a super fan of this man right here. It breaks my heart to hear that he's no more. I was hoping it was one of those internet hoaxes, but unfortunately it isn't, damn! My condolence to his daughter and entire family - its never easy to lose a love one. :-(

MOTIVATIONAL MONDAY: HOPE...

Like many human beings or females, I too have had my share of set-backs, heartbreaks, failures, etc. etc. And like many people, sometimes after a breakdown, I give up or start asking God "why oh why (with a crying face..)". Lets not forget often at times the things we do that brings us pain are or were not instructed by God, but when the wahala (means trouble/problem in Nigerian pidgin English) comes, we bombard God with our 'why oh why' matters!! If God were to be a human being, you know some of us would have wallowed in our misery for life, right? Cos truth be told some people would rather have you fail and pinned to the ground all the time than see you flourish.
